As a creative professional and a serial organizer, I am always looking for ways to make my work-life balance easier and more efficient. This never-ending process brought me to the realization that there is little sense in trying to chase a perfect balance between two such relevant elements of our contemporary lives. Instead, I now aim at designing a lifestyle for myself that makes room for all the things that make my life worth living, be them work-related or more personal.
As more and more women in Italy started to seek my advice on the topic, I decided to offer one-on-one consultations to help fellow creative professionals find their own ideal lifestyle.
My lifestyle design services were in Italian only. This was basically for two reasons:
- wedding planning was my core business, my main interest, and I wanted it to stay so. Which meant that I only had a limited amount of time that I could freely devote to other consultations. Also, producing and updating the workbooks and materials for the lifestyle consultations was time-consuming, so offering them in English as well would have meant being able to accommodate fewer wedding projects;
- the specific cultural context that Italian women find themselves framed by is still particularly familiar to me, so I felt I was better equipped to offer advice in this context.
