Three years ago I planned a multi-cultural wedding in Tuscany that brought together many different heritages in an inclusive celebration. It was a memorable experience and it resulted in four days packed with colors, adventures, laughter and joy.

The bride was of indian heritage so we arranged for a Mehndi painting session with Marged Trumper on the day of the guests arrival. For the ceremony she chose an amazing wedding sari by designer Guarav Gupta.

To navigate guests through a welcome barbecue on Thursday evening, a visit of Siena on Friday morning, wine tasting on Friday afternoon, a pizza and movie night under the stars on Friday, and the wedding festivities, we arranged for wooden signs throughout the venue. Guests were flying in from the UK (where the bride and groom lived at the time), Germany (the country of origin of the groom’s family), India and New York where most of the bride’s family were living. To reflect this amazing cultural diversity we hang signs that would display meaningful quotes about love from different literatures. The mother of the groom helped select them and it made it even more relevant to their story.

It was a glorious autumn day with a warm breeze that allowed for both the ceremony and dinner to be held outside. My assistant and I draped multi-color ribbons over the main entrance gate, and Stiatti Fiori created a stunning archway for the ceremony to be held under.

Dinner was set up inside the Castle courtyard, and the table decor brought together the seasonal rich colors the bride loved so much, hints to the setting (by way of wine crates to collect flower arrangements, and wine corks to hold name tags) as well as China red table signs to reflect the future of the couple, who now live in China.

Stefan and Ashwini looked stunning and radiant in their outfits. You could really see how much they loved each other and how much it meant for them to be able to share that with their loved ones.

During dinner Ashwini changed in her Alice Temperley white party dress and they party continued into the night with dancing and fun.
