I know, I’ve been away too long. But I’m coming back with a blast, I promise!
A couple of weeks ago I received the loveliest promo from Australian-based Classic Wedding Invitations. Linda Vydra (owner and designer at CWI) employs revolutionary last cutting technology to create invitations that are all but classic, if you ask me. Unique and incredible are the words that came to my mind while browsing their newest showcase pictures photographed by Lilli Waters (please, do check out her website for more of her stunning works!).

The aspect that struck me the most is the versatility of the process, which can be applied to any material. The most surprising for me would certainly be acrylic. Look at this stunning suite made of 3mm acrylic sheets, and its amazing details:

Lasercut acrylic also works fantastically for menu cards at an urban wedding, if you ask me. Think industrial loft in Milan.
But the creative style and exceptional craftsmanship of Classic Wedding Invitations can be applied to any design or concept. From this hipster and romantic suite, with an intricate lettered heart design that is achieved using accurate laser cutting:

To this über chic Great Gatsby inspired invite, inspired by the 1920’s and specifically the film The Great Gatsby. The design and colours used make this invite sophisticated and timeless, and it is also a very cost effective design!

But my favourite would have to be the super fun props for photobooths, made of lasercut bamboo, a unique way to get candid photos of your guests that really reflect the fun of a wedding:

So, what do you think? Which one of these would you choose to invite guests to your destination wedding to Italy?
